To All Santa Rosa Members,
The league is dire need of volunteers to keep the league running, please help Santa Rosa Baseball keep providing baseball to our kids.
Attention to all current and previous coaches, parents and volunteers of Santa Rosa Youth Athletics. There has been previous discussions and Town Hall meetings with San Fernando City Director of Parks & Rec and the City Manager of San Fernando along with Santa Rosa Youth Athletic Board members, parents and coaches in regards to the future of the baseball program at Las Palmas Park. On April 17th at 7 p.m. in a recreational room of Las Palmas Park there was a meeting held as to vote for reorganizing or keeping the existing Board of Santa Rosa Youth Athletics. After the vote was cast it was determined to reorganize Santa Rosa Youth Athletic board. Ideally it would be great to draw board members and officers from many or all of the teams to try to have a more balance board which will make sure all the interests of the different teams and age groups are being represented.
Moving forward we would like to have three individuals preferably one from each division who are not interested in running for a board position to help out on a nomination committee to begin the process of accepting nominations for Santa Rosa Youth Athletic Board members. Please submit your name to Frank Delgado by phone (818)321-4665 or email to email@example.com no later than April 30th. Once the Nomination Committee has been formed they will be accepted Nominations until May 19 and elections will be scheduled on May 26 at this point the new board will meet on May 29 to vote on officers.
Santa Rosa Youth Athletic is in need of volunteers so if you would like to help this league please offer to volunteer, the more volunteers the more successful and efficient the league will run.
